Booking Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS – SHARESHUTTLE MINI-BUS AND TOYOTA PRADO DRIVER HIRE

By confirming the hire of a SHARESHUTTLE MINI-BUS or SHARESHUTTLE TOYOTA PRADO DRIVER, you confirm that you have read and understood and agree to the following conditions:

1. Fees

  • SHARESHUTTLE MINI-BUS – up to 4 Passengers – price will be quoted in advance inclusive of GST for up to 8 hours. In addition to a security bond.
  • SHARESHUTTLE MINI-BUS – up to 13 Passengers – price will be quoted in advance inclusive of GST for up to 8 hours. In addition to a security bond.
  • SHARESHUTTLE TOYOTA PRADO DRIVER HIRE – up to 4 adult Passengers, plus 2 children – price will be quoted in advance inclusive of GST for up to 5 hours.
  • 50% deposit must be paid as part of the booking confirmation.
  • In addition to the deposit, for mini-bus trips with 10-13 Passengers – a $200.00 security bond must be forwarded within 7 days of confirmation. The security bond will be refunded within 2 business days after the subject date as per the terms and conditions pending the positive feedback from our driver, venue staff and the condition of the bus on arrival back at our offices.
  • Additional time – further to the total start to finish timeframe specified in the booking, can be requested before or during the journey, and only if practical for the driver subject to conflict with other bookings – and will be charged at $180.00 per hour in 15-minute ($45) increments. This must be paid at the end of your trip on the subject date.
  • All SHARESHUTTLE Quotes are valid for 30 days, after which time they may need to be reviewed;
  • Confirmation must be in writing (email) to secure vehicle booking;
  • Final balance is due within 3 working days of departure, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed upon with your driver;

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Over 30 days notice of departure – no cost;
  • 7-30 days notice of departure – 10% of the deposit non-refundable cancellation fee;
  • Within 7 days of departure – 50% of the deposit non-refundable cancellation fee;
  • Within 24 hours of departure – 100% non-refundable cancellation fee;

3. Final itinerary must be confirmed within 3 days of departure;

4. Any changes to the original requirements may incur additional fees;

5. The SHARESHUTTLE MINI-BUS can only carry the licensed number of passengers (up to 13 passengers);

6. The SHARESHUTTLE TOYOTA PRADO can the licensed number of passengers (up to 4 adults + 2 children).

7. Children and infants are welcome, however must be properly restrained with a seatbelt by an accompanying parent or guardian, and an infant or toddler booster/safety seat use if appropriate – provided by the adult passenger/s involved, and which meet safety standards.
Please provide your own Child Safety or Booster seats if required, for health and safety reasons.

8. All passengers are required to act in a cordial manner;

9. All passengers must abide by all reasonable requests that the driver may make throughout the journey.

10. Any illegal activities will result in immediate termination of the hire.

11. All passengers will be advised that regular safe stops will be made at the discretion of the driver. Under no circumstances is the driver to be harassed into making stops that he deems to be unsafe.

12. Government regulations and SHARESHUTTLE policy dictate that the following must be adhered to:

  • Smoking on the bus is not permitted;
  • Objects including body parts are not be held/projected outside of the bus confines;
  • Seat belts (if fitted) must be worn;
  • The consumption of alcohol and the use of glass is not permitted on the bus.

13. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as at the start of hire and any damage (accidental or otherwise), additional clean up or unnecessary rubbish will incur additional fees and costs.

14. At the completion of the journey the driver will drop passengers off at the original pickup point or prearranged point. We will be more than happy to drop off en route on main roads back to the drop off point. Please note however that additional drop offs can be arranged at a nominal cost with the driver and will be up to the driver’ s discretion if he can accommodate any additional drop offs.

15. When attending licensed premises no food or drink is to be taken on or off the bus. Also when leaving the premises no glasses or souvenirs to be brought back onto the bus. This excludes any purchased and unopened bottles or items from the locations. We have an excellent working relationship with all premises we attend and it is most important that this is not compromised. Failure to behave in a proper and civil manner may result in the immediate termination of hire.

16. SHARESHUTTLE does not take any responsibility for passengers’ lost or damaged property. Please ensure you do not leave personal items unattended.

17. SHARESHUTTLE does not take responsibility for the arrangements of any dining or winery bookings.

Last but not least it is most important that you have an enjoyable trip and we return you home safe and happy. The above rules are there for everyone’s safety and well-being.

Please do not hesitate to ask your driver any additional questions or requests and he or she will be able to advise and assist you where possible.
