McLaren Vale

Adelaide’s southern vales. South Australia’s “Italy.” Rolling hills meet beautiful sea views, all 40 minutes drive from the centre of Adelaide. A true “Jewel” of our state. Mclaren Vale is the “Adelaidian’s” favourite day out. Home to the consistently finest food in the most casual of environments where food quality is an obsession.

Not many restaurants can sustain a signature dish for as long as D’arrys Verandah has had their “Lobster tail in bisque” for, and its not even their best dish. The souffle reins supreme.

The cube at D’arenberg might be SA’s quirkiest attraction. Mclaren vale has had an influx of hipster types bringing fashionable dining, wines, beers and distilled deliciousness to one of Australia’s premium wine regions.

With more dining options that can be listed, a stones throw from some amazing beaches and a region diverse enough to offer full bodied to light bodied reds and some amazing whites.
